About the Research
Parkinson’s disease can cause impairments in thinking and memory but the timing and severity of this is highly variable. Emerging data suggests that visual dysfunction could be an early risk marker of these impairments.
The Vision in Parkinson’s Group at UCL aims to provide insight into how Parkinson’s disease can affect thinking and memory, with the ultimate goal of developing treatments to slow the progression of these impairments. You can also read more on the Dementia Research Centre’s website.
