How Might Robotics Transform Rehabilitation?
WORKSHOP
Friday 29th October
12pm – 1pm
Many stroke survivors are affected by movement difficulties affecting their upper limbs. However, exciting innovations involving robot-mediated therapy have great potential to improve movement rehabilitation outcomes in the near future.
This interactive session will be led by Prof Rui Loureiro and Peter Snow, two UCL researchers who specialise in rehabilitation robotics. They will describe current technological advancements in upper limb rehabilitation, and the direction that future research is heading. During the session, they would like to hear from you about your priorities relating to these technologies and rehabilitation, and how this can guide us to develop better technologies in future.
