The Brain & Spine Foundation was one of the first organisations in the UK to be certified as a quality provider of health information, as part of The Information Standard, NHS England. Our publications are designed as guides for people affected by brain and spine conditions, their families and carers. We aim to reduce uncertainty and anxiety by providing clear, concise, accurate and helpful information, and by answering the common questions that people ask.

The Brain & Spine Foundation helps people affected by a neurological problem throughout their journey by providing specialist support and tailored information on the full range of neurological conditions and problems.

Living with a neurological problem can be frightening, confusing and isolating. Our goal is for people to have the information and support that they need to live well with their condition.

Our Helpline is staffed by neuroscience nurses who offer clinical expertise as well as practical and emotional support. We are open 9am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday.

Our award winning information booklets and online content gives clear and accessible explanations of neurological conditions, test and treatments, as well as tips on self-management and working with your care team.

And our Facebook groups and Neuro Social online chats are how we bring people with neurological conditions together, to give support and get support from one another.
