Nadine Graedel – Special Commendation in Public Engagement 2021

Nadine was awarded the Special commendation in Public Engaement in recognition of the integral role she has played in both hosting students through In2scienceUK and her role in the Understanding MRI Project. 

Nadine took on an integral role in the Understanding MRI project, which aimed to engage with MRI study participants through the medium of animation. Nadine has shown incredible commitment and growth in developing her public engagement skills this year, and used her expert knowledge of MRI physics to clearly and accurately communicate tricky scientific concepts to Centre visitors. Therefore, the PE team would like to award her with a special commendation to recognise her incredible efforts.

Upon winning, Nadine said:
