The Stroke Association are here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke.

Our charity provides specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.

Rebuilding lives after stroke is a team effort. Since the early 1990s, we’ve invested over £55million to stroke research. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there.

Stroke Recoveries at Risk

The research, and policy and campaigns team from the Stroke Association will present on a report on the experience of around 2,000 people affected by stroke during the Covid-19 pandemic. The talk will cover how the survey was done, and the questions asked. It will cover the response received, and the key findings. As well as tell people how we’re using the results to influence governments, and a call to action to sign our open letter. You can see a written version of this talk here.
