Getting Moving

COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

Tuesday 26th October
3:30pm – 4:30pm

Being physically active is a great way to improve and maintain health and wellbeing and reduce the chance of another stroke. Through consistent repetitive movement, stroke survivors can start to see significant improvements during their recovery.

Join this interactive session, where we will hear from Dr Tom Balchin, Director of ARNI about how you can find the exercises that might work for you, and how these can really help with recovery.

We’ll also be joined by the team behind the campaign We Are Undefeatable, which aims to inspire and support people with long-term conditions to build physical activity into their lives in a way that works for them. They will talk about their campaign, the kind of movements that can be done from the comfort of your own home, and give some tips about how to make being more active fun.
