Around 1/3 of all stroke survivors experience communication difficulties. While some people struggle with one area of communication, such as putting words together into meaningful sentences, or difficulty in understanding what others are saying; others will be left with difficulties in more than one aspect of communication.

Join us for this interactive workshop, where we will explore communication that goes beyond words. The session will be jointly led by speech and language therapists from UCL’s PLORAS team and artist Sofie Layton. Together, they will deliver a creative workshop where participants will have a chance to dive into more creative modes of communication.
