Accessing Digital Tools and Rehabilitation Apps

WORKSHOP

Friday 29th October
10am – 11am

The world has been transformed by digital technology. This brings with it lots of exciting opportunities, including the development of rehabilitation apps designed for stroke survivors. However, a lack of digital literacy can pose significant difficulties in our daily lives. Stroke survivors tend to face more barriers when navigating this digital world, and can require bespoke support to help access digital resources.

In this workshop, AbilityNet will share insights and tips into accessing digital tools, and will talk about their work which aims to support anyone living with any disability or impairment to use technology to achieve their goals at home, at work, and in education. Participants will also have a chance to explore the latest web-based rehabilitation apps, developed at UCL Queen Square, which can be used by patients to continue their stroke recovery.
